Attention artists! 3 applicants will be selected to participate in the collaborative 2026 Artist in Residence Program at the Cranberry Basecamp. Each participant will have their own sleeping quarters but will share all common spaces. This program takes place in the spring, one of the most magical times to be in the mountains of West Virginia.

A guided hike in the Monongahela National Forest
A final celebratory catered dinner

An open approach to creating
A desire to collaborate, share ideas, and learn
An interest in meeting the locals and spending time in a working timber town
A desire to explore the Monongahela National Forest, the Cranberry Wilderness, and the surrounding area
2026 Artist in Residence Application Form
All artists are welcome to apply. Priority will be given to those artists from underrepresented groups. Additionally, we are seeking artists from a variety of mediums and will aim to select one artist per medium.
