WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“We had a lovely stay at Cranberry Basecamp! The house was extremely comfortable and well cared-for, with amenities above and beyond what we needed. It is perfectly suited for adventuring and staying in, and the sun porch was lovely in the chillier weather. There are some beautiful hikes within a short driving distance and Fayetteville and New River Gorge are an easy drive. We would stay again!”

“This was our second time staying at the Basecamp, and the whole family was excited to stay again! Everything we needed was there, and more. Plenty of pillows, blankets and comfortable beds at a lovely home with so many fun rooms. We especially enjoyed the screened in back porch this time. We stayed over the weekend while attending a wedding, and the Basecamp was a great place to get ready, and to come home and relax after so many activities. We will definitely stay again when we visit Richwood next!”

— Anthony, September 2025

“This was our second stay at the Basecamp and we loved it again! It’s such a cool, calming and welcome space. Carmen is a friendly, accommodating and thoughtful host. The house is even more more beautifully appointed than our last visit. All the stars! Thanks for sharing your home.”
